തന്റെ സ്കൂട്ടിയെ തട്ടി തട്ടിയില്ല എന്ന മട്ടിൽ ചീറിപ്പാഞ്ഞ പൾസർലെ ആ യുവാവിനെ നോക്കി അവൾ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു, ഈ യാത്രയിൽ നാം ഇനി കണ്ടുമുട്ടാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. പക്ഷെ, ദൈവം അവളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടില്ല; ആൾക്കൂട്ടത്തിനിടയിലൂടെ ആ കണ്ടുമുട്ടൽ അതിഭയാനകമായിരുന്നു.
